Airbus Renames the C Series

Airbus has today (July 10, 2018) revealed a new identity for the C Series after it recently took control of the airliner.

The CS100 is now designated the A220-100 and the CS300 is now the A220-300.

An A220-300, bearing its new Airbus name and colours, landed at a media event in Toulouse.

Guillaume Faury, Airbus President Commercial Aircraft, said: “The A220 now enters a new phase in its career with all Airbus’ resources behind it to further its commercial success worldwide.”
