Hi Fly has received its first Airbus A380.
The Portuguese wet-leasing specialist becomes the 14th global operator of the super jumbo and the first leasing airline to fly the aircraft.
The jet has arrived in Malta for painting.
It is the first of two A380s which will be delivered to Hi Fly. Both were formerly operated by Singapore Airlines on lease from the lessor Dr Peters Group.
The seat layout will be unchanged from SIA service: 471 seats between three classes (12 first, 311 economy on the main deck, with 60 business and 80 economy on the upper deck).
